Beeline and National Union of Employers of Armenia embark on second stage of youth labor competitiveness enhancement project
YEREVAN, November 27. /ARKA/. Beeline and the National Union of Employers of Armenia have embarked on the second stage of a joint project aimed at enhancement of the young generation's competitiveness in labor market.
The press office of ArmenTel CJSC (Beeline brand) says that the project is being implemented as part of Beeline's social program called 'Make Your Mark'.
At the first stage, 350 young people and students all over Armenia got a chance to attend 'Career Planning' educational classes. They learned from these lessons how to compose their resumes, how to search for a job and how to behave during interviews.
Trainings have been conducted for ten-to-fifteen-member groups. The trainees received certificates upon completing the classes.
The second stage was launched in November to select 70 ambitious young people with business ideas. Special classes will be conducted for them to give them knowledge in how to start their own businesses.
After completion of this stage, 20 best trainees will be provided with assistance in registration of their businesses. They will also receive professional consulting services and support in running businesses.
Gagik Makaryan, chairman of the National Union of Employers of Armenia, said employment of young people is a major problem in Armenia which is waiting for its final solution.
“This program allows young people to enhance their competitiveness in labor market,” he said. “Insufficient knowledge and experience is one of business closure causes,” he said adding that the union will provide consulting services to startup companies to strengthen their positions in market.
Beeline CEO in Armenia Andrey Pyatakhin said that thanks to 'Make Your Mark' social program Beeline continues implementing social programs helping young people to improve their lives.
“I am convinced that combining our technologies, our experience and education, we tune young people to overcoming difficulties and building their own future,” he said. “I am happy that thanks to Beeline ambitious young people all over Armenia will get an opportunity to obtain new knowledge, which will open new professional prospects to them.”
The program is aimed at training the youth in composing business plans, planning careers, establishing and running businesses, enhancing their competitiveness in labor market to deter then from labor migration.
