Card transactions via Internet rose to 2bln drams in Armenia in February
YEREVAN, April 25. /ARKA/. Card transactions via the Internet exceeded 2 billion drams in Armenia as of the end of February, an increase of 6.9% compared to the month before, monthly information handbook of the central bank of Armenia for February reports.
Number of card transactions via the Internet rose by 7.9% to 115,187 in the period.
Total volume of all card transactions in Armenia amounted to 92.1bln drams (41.3% increase); number of transactions totaled 1,834,976 (28.7% increase).
Card transactions through ATMs totaled 70.6bln drams as of the end of February (increase of about 44.5%); number of transactions was 1,517,250 (35.1% increase).
Card transactions via POS terminals and imprinters in the period totaled about 19.5bln drams (35% increase); total number of the transactions was 202,539 (3.2% increase). ($1=414.08drams). –0--
