DigiCamp participants’ best business ideas presented at DigiTec Expo 2014
YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. Innovative business projects of the second DigiCamp summer camp of technological entrepreneurship were presented at the tenth DigiTec Expo in Yerevan.
Beeline CEO in Armenia Andrey Pyatakhin said the company sponsors the summer camp for two consecutive years, since the company pays special attention to talented young people.
“We will keep supporting young people giving them a chance to achieve more, win new peaks and improve life,” he said. “Armenian young people is very talented and today we see convincing evidence of that. Young finalists of the summer camp have already established their businesses, and I am convinced that many of them will become successful entrepreneurs contributing to the country’s economic development.”
Some 40 young people whose ideas had been selected as best took part in the summer camp that was held from August 10 to 20.
The camp participants got a chance to develop and improve their projects thanks to advices provided by experts and entrepreneurs.
The DigiCаmp 2014 jury named three winners. The idea of a sowing robot was recognized best and Tigran Sargsyan from the Armenian city of Spitak pulled off the grand prize.
The second prize went to David Avetisyan from Yerevan for his ‘Top Price’ project that analyses the usage of mobile communication services by a particular customer and offers him/her a beneficial price on the basis of the result of the analysis.
The team of the robot engineering group from the Yerevan State Engineering University, with its idea of automated ice-cream-selling machine, was the third winner.
All the three winners got money prizes and all the participants of the summer camp received DigiCamp certificates.
The tenth Digitec Expo 2014 opened today in Yerevan-Expo exhibition complex.--0--
