South Korean SK Group interested in working in Armenia
YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. SK Group, the second largest holding in South Korea after Samsung, is interested in operating in Armenia, representatives of the holding, led by Vice President Um Youngwan, said at a meeting with Armenian Deputy Minister of High Technologies Industry Gevorg Mantashyan in Yerevan.
Mantashyan highly assessed the importance of the development of Armenian-Korean friendly ties and underlined that there are favorable conditions for cooperation, especially in such areas as IT, artificial intelligence and digitization.
He spoke about Armenia's high-tech sector, existing potential, development trends. Mantashyan emphasized that a number of large global IT companies are currently working in Armenia and expressed confidence that SK Group can become one of them.
The representatives of SK Group visited the Engineering Campus, ISTC center operating in Yerevan state University, the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, PixArt company office.
