Technology and Science Dynamics to invest $3 million in opening of representative offices of Armenian IT sector abroad
YEREVAN, February 23. /ARKA/. Technology and Science Dynamics will invest $3 million in the establishment of representative offices of Armenian IT sector abroad, Transport, Communications and Information Technology Minister Vahan Martirosyan told a government session today.
The Armenian government approved today the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Technology and Science Dynamics (the manufacturer Armenian tablets and smartphones) for promotion of information technology, telecommunications and innovations.
‘The opening of Armenia IT sector’s representative offices abroad is supposed to attract foreign investment in the sector and create new jobs," Martirosyan said.
According to him, the project also aims to attract human and structural resources, including the potential of the Armenian Diaspora, for the promotion and integration of Armenian products in international markets.
Technology and Science Dynamics entered the Armenian market in 2013, by providing local customers with the first Armenian tablets ArmTab and first Armenian smartphones ArmPhone. Later, the company registered in the free economic zone and began production not only for domestic but also foreign markets. According to preliminary data, it invested $3 million in the production of Armenian tablets. -0-
