A CIS meeting on space cooperation being held in Yerevan
YEREVAN, December 14 /ARKA/. The 9th meeting of representatives from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on space cooperation is being held in Yerevan, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology reported.
It said Armenian Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology Armen Arzumanyan presented a report on the prospects of the country's space program within the framework of an agreement on the peaceful use of outer space, signed by the governments of Armenia and Russia.
During the two-day conference, reports will be delivered on the possibilities of using observation stations in the CIS space for various space research, development of cooperation between the CIS member countries using the GLONASS communication system and on a number of other topics. -0-
