ArMath students assemble robots from WiFi parts
YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. The students of an ArMath engineering lab operating at #173 school in Yerevan, has assembled robots using Wi-Fi devices provided by ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline), and demonstrated them at DigiTec high-tech exhibition.
In the summer, ArmenTel donated one thousand devices to ArMath laboratories as part of cooperation with the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE).
"It is very nice to see so many talented young people who are so skilled that they can assemble working robots from various spare parts. I am sure that they have achieved a lot in the field of high technologies and are very glad that our company contributed to their education. Education is the best way to improve people's lives," ArmenTel CEO, Andrei Pyatakhin, said.
As many as 210 ArMath laboratories operate in Armenia now. Some 5,000 school students attend them.
ArMath Laboratory has won two international awards – Stable Development and the Best Provider of Technical Education.
