Software of Armenia’s ArMath engineering laboratory to be applied in India
YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. Karen Vardanyan, executive director of Armenia’s Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), and Rama Luthra, executive director of India’s Lexicon PR Management Service, signed Monday a cooperation memorandum, the press office of the UITE reports.
In accordance with the memorandum, the software of Armenia’s ArMath Engineering Laboratory will be applied in Indian schools’ laboratories.
The memorandum was signed in India at the World Congress on Information Technology, which kicked off on February 19 and will be wrapped up on February 21.
There are 210 ArMath laboratories in Armenia, which are attended by 5,000 school students.
In 2016, ArMath Laboratory received two international awards – Steady Development and The Best Provider of Technical Education.
Armenia will host the next World Congress on Information Technology in 2019.
Cooperation arrangements were made also with Japan’s ASOCIO (The Asian-Oceanian Computing
Industry Organization) that includes IT organizations from 24 countries.
Representatives of the Japanese company will visit Armenia in 2019.
UITE was founded in 2000 with the aim of protecting the economic interests of ICT companies, stimulating business development and encouraging research in the IT field. --0--
