Taiwanese scientists to help Armenia develop smart technologies for agriculture
YEREVAN, March 25. /ARKA/. Taiwanese and Armenian scientists will develop smart technologies for agriculture with joint efforts, the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises reported Monday after its chairman Alexander Yesayan met with a delegation of the National Chiao Tung University, one of Taiwan's flagship public research universities.
The Taiwanese university’s delegation was made up of scientists, professors and researchers specialized in introduction of smart technologies in agriculture.
“Taiwan, just like Armenia, is a country with scant land resources, and it is interested in enhancement of quality and per-hectare productivity as well,” Yesayan said. “To develop the new technology presented to our experts, it was decided to embark on discussion over implementation of a joint investment program, which will lead to development of agriculture not only in these two countries, but also all over the world.” --0---
