Unified electronic system to be introduced in Armenia’s civil registry offices
YEREVAN, August 14. /ARKA/. A unified electronic system will be introduced in civil registry offices across Armenia as from September 1, deputy minister of justice Suren Krmoyan told a press conference on Wednesday.
Online civil registry applications from citizens will be accepted as from September, as the respective modernization works are expected to be completed by the end of August, Krmoyan said.
The required software and database is already there and all civil status documents are now being incorporated into it, he said.
The deputy minister also said the staffs have completed the required training courses, the offices are reequipped and are ready for launch of the new system. –0—
