VivaCell-MTS presents new Mobi Dram mobile application for online micro lending

YEREVAN, November 3. /ARKA/. VIvaCell-MTS presents Mobi Dram first mobile application in Armenia for online micro lending.    

Moby Dram, a subsidiary of VivaCell-MTS, is the first company in Armenia to offer micro credits, which amount at least to AMD 5,000.

It is possible to get micro loans online at any time and at any place. Everyday commission will be taken for the use of the services.

The aim of the new application is to improve services, save service provision time, ensure availability of lending for people with limited budget.

The application has been developed in cooperation with SEF International Microfinance Institution, the first licensed micro financial organization in Armenia.  

“As subsidiary of VivaCell-MTS, Moby Dram is guided by ‘Wide opportunities to clients’ motto, which implies high-quality servicing and introduction of new instruments,” VivaCell-MTS Ralph Yirikian is quoted in the press release. “From time to time we expand the list of our services. As a result, the mobile phone is becoming not only one of communication and e-payment means, but also a serious instrument for receiving micro credits.”

Micro crediting is available to Premium clients of Moby Dram.

After entering the application and choosing a necessary sum, a user will receive SMS message within 5 minutes and an electronic letter confirming that the lending is already formalized.

The loan is provided for at least one year. After repaying it the client may send another application for micro loan.

Cash may be obtained at any branch of SEF International Microfinance Institution. It is also possible to make purchases or pay for any services.

VivaCell-MTS (K-Telecom CJSC), mobile telecommunication company, started operating in Armenia in 2005.

The company’s activity embraces the entire territory of Armenia.

Mobile Telesystems (MTS), the largest mobile telecommunication operator in Russia and the CIS, holds 80% of the company’s shares, and the remaining 20% belong to Lebanese Fattouch Group. ---0---
