Apaga Technologies announces acquisition of telecommunications infrastructure of Shirak technologies
YEREVAN, January 21, /ARKA/. Apaga Technologies today announced the acquisition of telecommunications infrastructure of Shirak Technologies (SHTE), a leading ISP provider in Gyumri and Shirak Marz. SHTE’s telecom assets include a large optical fiber network and datacenters in Gyumri and Yerevan.
“Shirak Technologies’ assets will be integrated into Apaga Technologies existing network, thus making it hybrid infrastructure that will comprise both optical fiber and Wi-Fi wireless technology”, said Michel Davoudian, CEO of Apaga Technologies. “We will provide Internet services in Gyumri and nearby villages under OZONE Armenia and OZONE Village brands. Also, we will expand our services for organizations having branches and representative offices in Gyumri.”
Apaga Technologies will continue providing data transit services between Gyumri and Yerevan mainly for corporate clients using high bandwidth.
