3D MODELING LABORATORY LAUNCHED IN GIUMRI BRANCH OF STATE ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY OF ARMENIA
YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. A three-dimensional modeling laboratory was launched at the State Engineering University of Armenia in Giumry, Chief of High and Information Technologies Department of Armenian Ministry of Economy Zhenya Azizyan reported.
The laboratory was set up under the three-sided agreement between the University, the 3D Modeling Association and Armenia’s Union of Jewelers, she said.
The laboratory will give students an opportunity to obtain 3D modeling knowledge and skills to execute orders received from the jewelry production sector, Azizyan said. She said that the Jewelers’ union is going to provide the required equipment for the students to develop models in practice.
Under the financial world crisis conditions, jewelry production is developing well and the laboratory will help intensify this direction in Armenia, Azizyan said. All the required equipment is being procured, the education programs is prepared and selection of students is under way, she said.–0--
