A dozen Armenian companies will take part in connect IT forum Romania

YEREVAN, March 25. / ARKA /. About a dozen Armenian companies will take part in the first CONNECT forum of information and high technology companies of the Black Sea region that will be held in Bucharest, Romania, on June 9-10, Vahan Hovsepian, an advisor to the management of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), told ARKA.

The forum is a B2B format event and will be conducted by the UNDP’s trade and investment development program in the Black Sea region (BSTIP).He said in the framework of the forum members of the Armenian delegation will meet with peers from leading Romanian IT companies and with an ethnic Armenian member of the Romanian parliament Varuzhan Pambukchyan, who actively supports Romania’s IT sector.

UITE will assist Armenian companies in receiving visas and may also show some financial support. The forum will be attended by representatives of 100 companies from 12 countries, including Armenia, Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine. -0-
