Armenia improves its standing in Digital Diplomacy Rating 2017
YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. Armenia has improved its standing in the Digital Diplomacy Rating – 2017 by 17 notches moving up to 34th position. Armenia has outstripped such countries of the region as Turkey (41st), Azerbaijan (48th), Georgia (67th) and Iran (24th). In the post-Soviet space (not counting the Baltic countries), Armenia is second only to Russia (4th place) and Ukraine (23rd).
The top three are the United States, Great Britain and France, which have retained their leadership. The rating includes 209 foreign ministries.
The evaluation was conducted on the basis of digital resources of the diplomatic world, taking into account websites, mobile applications, social networking sites, and ways to solve diplomatic issues in the digital space. --0-
