Armenian government to tighten grip on Internet casinos
YEREVAN, August 25. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved Thursday at its regular meeting draft amendments to the law on gambling and casinos, which oblige Internet casinos to have licenses, just like ordinary casinos.
Gagik Khachatryan, finance minister, said this will allow conducting inspections and verify legality of these businesses.
In his words, the aim of the amendment is struggle against money laundering.
Khachatryan proposed to discuss the amendments without delay, and Hovik Abrahamyan, prime minister, agreed with him. --0---
