GNC-ALFA SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE IN TEN MORE TOWN
YEREVAN, October 9. / ARKA /. The services of a wholesale Internet provider, GNC-Alfa, have become available in ten more Armenian cities, the press service of the company said in a press release.
It said they are available now in Amasia, Ashotsk, Akhuryan, Talin, Maralik, Berd, Tchambarak, Vardenis, Vayk and Meghri.
The company said networks nodes in these towns were put into operation, making possible the provision of IP-transit services, Internet access, voice and data transfer, virtual private network (VPN) and other services.
The company also said its investment program is underway designed to increase Internet penetration in the country, increase the availability of information resources for organizations and individuals, as well as improve access to the latest networking technologies.
GNC-Alfa’s services are available today in Yerevan, as well as in 44 cities in Kotayk, Ararat, Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Aragatsotn, Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Armavir and Gegharkunik regions.
GNC-Alfa was established in 2007. Its major business is the construction and operation of the main telecommunications networks and providing transport network services. The company has built a fiber backbone of Iran, and two outputs via Georgia.
There are three operators of wholesale internet in the country- ArmenTel (trading as Beeline), FiberNet Communications, and GNC Alfa. -0-
