New IT company opens in Armenian Ijevan
YEREVAN, December 25. / ARKA /. A new IT company called Vector has opened today in the Armenian town of Ijevan, the capital of Tavush province, the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) said. The company has been founded in December 2014 by Areg Petrosyan with the assistance form Instigate company, which is a member of UITE. “Currently, IT companies operate in Gyumri, Vanadzor, Goris, Ijevan and Stepanakert, the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh republic. The objectives of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises and Instigate coincide- it is to engage young people in IT industry,” UITE executive director Karen Vardanyan is quoted as saying in a press release. Vector’s team includes four programmers who are working to create software for the Internet and portable computers. They have already successfully completed three projects. The company is also conducting training courses to recruit new team members.-0-
