Rostelecom assists two children from border villages to spend one week at Tumo summer camp
YEREVAN, June 29. /ARKA/. Ani and Sarkis, a girl and a boy from the border villages Movses and Aygepar in Tavush province, spent a week in the summer camp of the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies with the assistance of Rostelecom in Armenia.
Within the framework of the weekly program, they had courses on animation, website development and robotics. During this time, the children got acquainted with Adobe Flash Animation Desk, HTML5, CSS3 and Adobe Dreamweaver, learned also how to develop 3D games, create their own dynamic websites and present their ideas. They also had active, busy days in Yerevan, visiting city attractions.
The Tumo summer camp gives the children the opportunity not only to acquire skills and knowledge, but also establish contacts with peers who come from abroad. The camp also provides an opportunity to conduct research, engage in sports, as well as get acquainted with specialists in various fields.
Further cooperation between Rostelecom and Tumo will continue in the future for the benefit of technologically educated youth, Rostelecom said.
