Yandex.Money points out key goods and services for which Armenia’s residents pay
YEREVAN, June 8. /ARKA/. Yandex.Money, Russia’s largest electronic payment service that has 30 million registered users, has found out goods and services for which Armenia’s residents were paying most actively throughout this spring.
Payments of users from Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Goris, Kapan and other cities of the country have been taken in consideration.
“It seems Armenia’s residents have decided to mark this spring with traveling,” the company said.
”The number of online purchases of air tickets tripled in March-May 2017, compared with the same period a year earlier. The average spending grew as well – from AMD 48,101 to AMD 60,020.”
Besides, people in spring, as a rule, made necessary preparations for summer vacation season – the number of purchases of household and garden appliances in internet shops rose nine times, compared with March-May 2016, but spending here shrank four times – AMD 4,257.
Armenian residents’ entertainment expenses have grown as well – they have paid five time larger amounts for movies, theatres, museums and concerts in March-May 2017 in the same period a year before. On average, they spent AMD 8,939 per one time. Purchases of books grew 2.9 times. ($1 – AMD 482.56). --0--
