Expiration date of Armenian mobile radio communication network in Armenian nuclear power station is prolonged for 10 years
YEREVAN, August 18. /ARKA/. On Wednesday, Public Services Regulation Committee (PSRC) prolonged the expiration date of mobile radio communication network of CJSC “Armenian nuclear power station” for 10 years.
“Application on prolongation of mobile radio communication network was submitted to the committee due diligence and was decided to satisfy it”, said Head of the Committee Robert Nazaryan.
Advisor of PSRC Gevorg Grigoryan said that the right of using radiofrequencies 155,125 MHz, 155,850 MHz, 160,850 MHz, 164,850 MHz by nuclear power station becomes effective from September 2, 2010.
This decision does not cover Zovashen-Khachik as the right of using radiofrequencies was provided to this section on the basis of competition.
In the mentioned section, permission of using mobile radio communication will be prolonged for one year. For this purpose, an application should be submitted to the Committee during a year.
Armenian Nuclear Power Station is located near the city Metsamor (about 20-30 km to the South from Yerevan). The station is operating since 1976 and currently only second block of the station with the capacity of 407.5 MVt is functioning. Financial flows of Armenian Nuclear Power Station are under the trust management of Open JSC “INTER RAO EEC” since September 2003 up to 2013 the owner of which is Russian state corporation “Rosatom”. By the assessment of the specialists, Armenian Nuclear Power Station can function till 2016. G.K. --0—
