Armenia-based startups attracted $69.4 million over past year
YEREVAN, July 27. /ARKA/. Over the past year, Armenia-based startups have attracted investments in the amount of $69.4 million, David Baghdasaryan, co-founder of the Krisp application, wrote on Facebook.
"Our goal is to form a technological nation. We have no other alternatives," Baghdasaryan said.
"This is a big figure for us and it is only the amount that was officially announced. There is also attracted money that was not officially announced," Baghdasaryan said.
In particular, Podcastle attracted $1.8 million, Krisp - $14 million, CoinStats - $1.2 million, Softr - $2.2 million, Scylla AI - $3.7 million, 10Web - $2 million, InSpace - $6 million, SuperAnnotate - $14.5 million, SoloLearn - $24 million.
Also, startups founded by ethnic Armenians abroad, which have a serious presence in Armenia, attracted $738.5 million, in particular, ServiceTitan - $7 00 million, CodeSignal - $25 million, Disqo - $13.5 million.
There are startups created by Armenian founders that have been sold recently for $650 million, in particular, Aarki was sold for $150 million and Epic! for $500 million –0--
