Seedstars Yerevan for start-ups begins in September

YEREVAN, August 28. / ARKA /. The Seedstars Yerevan-2017 competition is organized by the Microsoft Innovation Center in Armenia jointly with the telecommunications company VivaCell-MTS, the press service of the Center reported.

It said Seedstars Yerevan-2017 is part of the international Seedstars World designed for emerging markets and rapidly developing entrepreneurial ecosystems. The selected 12 companies will take part in the Yerevan competition. The winner will have the opportunity to present Armenia at the world competition Seedstars in Switzerland. The winner of the world stage will receive a financing up to $1 million.

Those wishing to participate must fill out an application before September 19th. The Seedstars was first held in Armenia in 2014, its finalist was SoloLearn.

The competition helps create connection between investors and start-up companies, allowing to draw the attention of the largest investors from Silicon Valley and Western Europe. 

Both start-up companies and already existing companies with the finished product may participate in the competition.

Seedstars is a global platform, serving as a bridge between investors and start-up companies. The competition has been held from 2013 in 65 countries. -0-
