Technology hub for start-ups to be created in Armenia
YEREVAN, May 20. /ARKA/. A technology hub for start-ups will be created in Armenia, Deputy Minister of High Technology Industry Stepan Tsaturyan said at an online conference today, organized by the Economic Journalists Club and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
According to him, the technology hub will bring representatives of startups together under one roof.
“Several large structures have already passed into our jurisdiction, including the Yerevan Institute of Mathematical Machines (Mergelyan Institute), which has been known for its technological developments since Soviet times. Most likely, it will become the hub for startups,” Tsaturyan said.
Technology parks are already operating in the capital Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor. There is also the Engineering Town being built near Yerevan, which will unite engineering companies, creating favorable working conditions and necessary infrastructure for them. –0--
