Computerized tomography scanner donated to medical center of Nagorno-Karabakh republic
STEPANAKERT, May 11. /ARKA/. A computerized tomography scanner was donated to the Medical Center of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the local state television reports. The funds for the purchase of the CT scanner, over 710 thousand U.S. dollars, were provided by Barsegh Beglaryan, the owner of Flash oil trader in Armenia.
The deputy director of Meditech company, Samvel Khachatryan, said local doctors will have training courses in Armenia and abroad soon to operate the new equipment.
Nagorno-Karabakh health minister Sergey Movsesian said local residents will not have to go to Kapan or Yerevan in Armenia to be examined by CT scanner. Also the Nagorno-Karabakh government bought for the Medical Center a new digital x-ray machine. -0-
