New surveillance cameras and speed detectors installed on Yerevan roads
YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. New surveillance cameras and speed detectors were installed on some large streets and crossroads in Yerevan on January 16, the press office of Armenia’ police department reported on Monday.
Other Yerevan streets will be provided with such cameras as well, but a little later. Cameras will also be installed on Yerevan-Sevan highway.
The police department urges drivers to observe traffic rules. Surveillance cameras will fix irregularities, but there will be no any photo of a driver or a person sitting next to him in the paper with decision, but a picture proving traffic disturbance will be attached to the traffic ticket.
Cameras are installed in visible places and there are also signs on these roads warning drivers of these cameras.
Earlier, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan said that 60 surveillance cameras will be added to the already installed 60, and this will make it easier to regulate traffic in the capital. -0---
