General Director: orange plans to introduce IPhone in the Armenian market
YEREVAN, February 3. /ARKA/. On Wednesday Bruno Dyutua, General Director of Orange said that they plan to introduce IPhone in the Armenian market.
Upon entering the Armenian market Orange announced that due to appointments with foreign partners Orange will introduce IPhone in the Armenian market. But it did not appear through shop network in Armenia till now.
“Our plans are not changed and very soon you will see IPhone in the Armenian market but now I cannot tell the exact date. It will be surprise for our subscribers”, Said Dyutua.
Sale of iPhone is planned to start at the beginning of 2010. In the site of Orange model iPhone 3GS is already introduced.
iPhone is four wide-band GSM telephone of the company Apple combining functionality of mobile telephone iPod in it and Internet board. It works under the management of iPhone OS which is modernized version of Mac OS X.
The first time iPhone was announced by Steve Jobs in the conference MacWorld Expo on January 9, 2007. It was put up for sale on June 29, 2007 and covered significant part of smartphone market in USA. On June 10, 2008 during the conference WWDC 2008 new model iPhone 3G was introduced which was modernizezed and improved. On June 8, 2009 new and the third model of iPhone 3GS was introduced.
