3D modeling lab to open in Armenia’s Gyumri city
YEREVAN, December 15. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Gyumri city will have a lab for 3D modeling, RA Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan reported last week.
According to the minister, the students of the Faculty of Art in the Gyumri-based branch of the State Engineering University elaborated graphic design projects.
“The Jeweler’s Union and 3D Association have agreed on establishing the laboratory to launch three-dimension modeling and design of jewelry and find the best engineering solutions,” Yeritsyan continued.
The laboratory is part of the project on establishing an industrial park in Gyumri.
According to Kevin Tompstone, Irish expert, Armenia needs to attract $55mln to build the Gyumri-based industrial park. He also believes it will take the country about 15 years to fully establish the industrial park that will open around 10,000 employment opportunities. –0--
