Orange Armenia customers can enjoy benefits offered by Orange as an international operator
YEREVAN, August 2, /ARKA/. Orange Armenia mobile telecommunications company said its customers planning to spend their holidays in European countries can enjoy the benefits offered by Orange as an international operator.
They will make and receive calls in the countries included in Orange Zone for the exclusive 250 AMD/min tariff. In all countries included in this zone the price of an outgoing short message is 200 AMD, and all incoming SMS’s are free.
Orange Zone unites range of European countries where France Telecom operates. They are: France, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Poland, Romania, Moldova, Luxembourg, where customers can join the local Orange network, and Belgium, where France Telecom operates under the brand Mobistar.
Orange Armenia, 100% subsidiary of France Telecom, launched its mobile voice and internet services on November 5, 2009 on the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia. During 2009, 140 million dollars have been invested in Armenia, and now the company provides a full range of voice and data services in 500 cities and villages of Armenia. Orange has the widest 3G+ network in Armenia which covers more than 85% of the population. After the first month of operation Orange registered its 100.000th customer of voice services. By April 2010 Orange Armenia had 250,000 active customers including 25.000 broadband internet subscribers. -0-
