Armenian Armentel Embarks Starts Digitalizing 61 And 62 Analogous Telephone Stations In Yerevan
YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Armenian ArmenTel CJSC (Beeline brand) has already embarked on digitalization of 61 and 62 analogous telephone stations in Yerevan, the company’s press office reported on Monday.
The digitalization of the mentioned stations is planned to be completed before the end of this year.
It means 98% of users of fixed telecommunication services in Yerevan will enjoy digital telecommunication services, and only one, the station 47 will remain analogous.
ArmenTel Director General Igor Klimko said that the company continues digitalizing telephone stations in Yerevan and provinces.
“We are very pleased to offer a new quality of traditional fixed communication services to a larger number of uses ahead of the New Year holidays,” the press office quoted him as saying.
He said 80% of the company’s subscribers would have digital telecommunication later this year.
