ArmenTel connects 100,000 subscriber to Hi-Line service
YEREVAN, July 1. / ARKA /. Ani Avetisian, a 23-year-old student of the Armenian State Agrarian University, (she lives in THE central Hrazdan town), received today a precious gift from ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline) after becoming 100,000th Armenian to have subscribed to the company’s Hi-Line Internet connection service.
Ani Avetisian received from ArmenTel and its partner, Hewlett-Packard Company, a notebook HP ELITE BOOK 2740 and a free annual subscription to the service.
ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko said during the ceremony that it was a very important event in terms of the development of information technologies in Armenia, as the 100,000th subscriber was connected through broadband ADSL technology.
On June 16 ArmenTel announced the launch of a Hi-Line - Mega Summer offer for residents outside Yerevan. If a subscriber gets connected to one of three Hi-Line Mega + services , he ort she will enjoy the first 3 months of the service free. The offer is valid until July 15, 2011.
ArmenTel is owned fully by Russian Vimpelcom. It provides fixed and mobile telephone services, as well as broad-band Internet access. -0-
