The seminar is organized by the health ministry jointly with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research and with financial support from the Swiss government.

Aramayis Grigoryan, Armenia’s environment minister, on his side, said that industry and trade have developed and the usage of chemical industry’s products has grown a great deal in recent years.
“The usage of chemical products in various areas is very important, but improper usage may have adverse impacts on environment,” he said.

“Although some kinds of nano materials affect environment, it has become known that some other kinds of nano products have favorable impacts on environment,” he said.
Grigoryan also said that the Armenian government’s environmental policy is aimed at ensuring safe usage of chemical products and shielding environment and human health from adverse impacts. --0--
