'Armat' Engineering Laboratory opened in Artsakh
YEREVAN, July 13. /ARKA/. 'Armat' Engineering Laboratory was opened two weeks ago in one of schools of Karvachar in Artsakh (Karabakh), the press office of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) reported on Wednesday.
Schoolchildren from the city and nearby settlements are receiving an up-to-date technology education in this laboratory and knowledge in essential robotics industry and programming.
They are also taking part in contests and meeting with representatives of IT industry.
This is the seventh laboratory in Artsakh – other laboratories are in Stepanakert, Shushi, Vank, Chartar, Berdzor and Vurgavan. The laboratories are attended by 150 schoolchildren.
There are also 210 'Armat' laboratories in Armenia. They are attended by 5,000 schoolchildren.
'Armat' Laboratory received two awards at once in 2016 – Stable Development and The Best Supplier of Technical Education.
The UITE was established in 2000 to protect economic interests of IT companies. --0---
