ArMath Lab trainees display their robots and 3D models
YEREVAN, June 5. /ARKA/. Trainees at ArMath engineering laboratories in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province have exposed pieces of their work at an exhibition in Yeghegnadzor, the press office of Ucom Telecommunication Company reported on Monday.
According to the news release, the aim of the meeting was to create communication environment for the trainees and to test their knowledge.
ArMath lab attendees brought here the robots and 3D models they have created at their lessons by using 3D printers.
Sedrak Vardanyan, ArMath Lab coordinator, said there was not a single group in Vayots Dzor one year ago, while now 11 ArMath engineering laboratories function here.
Ashot Barseghyan, head of Ucom’s unit in charge of brand development and communications, said on his side that the telecommunication company already has a three-year experience of supporting introduction of ArMath laboratories in schools in Armenia’s provinces.
“This symbolic summer day has been chosen for paying more attention to engineering education among children and for making everything possible for their development,” he said.
Ucom is investing in the opening of 70 ArMath engineering club-laboratories in nine provinces of Armenia.
Access to the software packages and equipment schemes is open to everybody.
