Armenia and South Korea start cooperation
YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. Armenian ministry of transport, communications and information technology starts cooperation with the National Information Society Agency (NIA) of South Korea, deputy minister Boris Demirkhanyan said today.
"South Korea is one of the world leaders in the development and introduction of information and communication technologies, and we hope that by starting cooperation with the Korean side we will be able to make fruitful use of its experience," he said on Friday.
Demirkhanyan noted also that at this stage the cooperation involves only the studying of Korean experience in ICT, but he did not rule out that in the future the Korean side will implement investment projects in Armenia.
"At this stage, we are only studying the experience of Korea and will try to adapt the best of this experience in our country. However, if cooperation at this stage is successful and we are able to interest the Korean side, it is possible that in future they implement investment projects in Armenia, " he said.-0-
