Armenia’s ArmenTel urges users to install antivirus software
YEREVAN, October 7. /ARKA/. ArmenTel (trading as Beeline) has recorded spread of viruses among Internet users and urges subscribers to install anti-virus protection software, the company’s press office reported.
Over the last days some subscribers using Hi-Line experienced slow Internet speeds most probably due to viruses. The company has recorded spread of viruses among its subscribers over the last days, the report says.
The company recommends using Kaspersky Lab’s free tool (http://www.kaspersky.ru/antivirus-removal-tool) to scan the computer for viruses.
To prevent recurrence ArmenTel advises to keep antivirus programs up to date, not to open any attachment unless it is something expected, not to follow the links and not to click buttons popping up in the messages, to use a reliable password and to follow security rules while talking on the social networks.
Beeline customer service is available 24 hours and is always ready to help subscribers solve their problems ASAP, the company said.
