Armenia’s IT sector to be presented at seminar in Japan
YEREVAN, October 25. /ARKA/. Armenia will present its IT programs and peculiarities of its information technology sector at a seminar in Tokyo, scheduled for October 28, the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) said today.
It said the goal of the event is to promote Japan’s interest in cooperation with the Armenian IT sector, as well as establish new business contacts.
The Armenian IT sector will be represented by Instigate, VoLo, Arminova Technologies, Leviathan, IU Networks, VMware Eastern Europe, Granatus Ventures and other companies.
The seminar called "IT's Armenia" is a joint effort of the Armenian embassy in Japan, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japanese-Armenian Business and Cultural Initiative, the Japan Association for Trade with Russia and the Newly Independent States (ROTOBO) and the Japan International Cooperation agency (JICA). -0-
