Armenia to deepen cooperation with Kaspersky Lab to improve its cyber security
YEREVAN, July 25. /ARKA/. Members of the Armenian defense ministry’s Hi-Tech Cyber Security Center met Thursday with Eugene Kaspersky, a Russian cybersecurity expert and the CEO of Kaspersky Lab, the defense ministry’s press office reports.
The current things in cyber security in Armenia, protection of critical infrastructures and cooperation prospects were discussed at the meeting.
Kapersky arrived Wednesday in Yerevan to sign a cooperation memorandum with Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, where a postgraduate program on cyber security will be launched on September 1.
Armen Darbinyan, the head of the university, assigned Russian-Armenian University Honored Doctor title to Kaspersky.
Hi-Tech Cyber Security Center is focused on creation and application of high-tech solutions in the defense system. --0----
