Armenia to shift to digital TV broadcasting on June 1, 2015

YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. At its regular meeting held Thursday, the Armenian government set the deadline for the country's transition to digital television – June 1, 2015. 

The transition to digital TV broadcasting must be completed by this date and all TV stations in the country must broadcast in tune with Europe's single standard. 

Under the radio and television law adopted in 2010, Armenia's 18 TV channels had to shift to digital broadcasting no later than on July 20, 2015. ---0---
