Armenian dasaran.am starts cooperation with Zoom
YEREVAN, April 15. /ARKA/. Dasaran.am Armenian educational platform said today it will be cooperating with Zoom mobile video-conferencing application to help secondary schools in Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) organize distance learning in an easier and more convenient way.
From now on, teachers can create and conduct video lessons in the "Lessons" section of Dasaran.am through a system that notifies students of video lessons making them available. Teachers can also create tests to find out how students have learned the lesson and give homework to both the entire class and the individual student.
With the help of analytical tools in Dasaran.am, teachers have the opportunity to analyze the performance of the entire class or individual student and get detailed information.
On March 16 Armenia declared a state of emergency ordering the closure of schools and universities due to the spread of the coronavirus. Educational establishments were ordered to shift to distant learning by using a number of online sites. Students who do not have smartphones or computers, were provided with gadgets with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and private benefactors, while telecommunication operators have offered discount tariff plans to provide students with affordable Internet. --0-
