Armenian government to cooperate with IBM in implementation of social programs
YEREVAN, December 2. / ARKA /. Armenia’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan and IBM CEO for Eastern Europe and Asia Kirill Korniliev have signed Tuesday in Yerevan a memorandum of understanding aimed at exploring possibilities for integration of technology and computer systems for the needs of the country’s social sector.
The Armenian government said the memorandum has been signed during a meeting of the IBM delegation with Minister for International Economic Integration and Reform Vache Gabrielyan.
The memorandum calls for the development of effective options of applications of technology in the social state.
Gabrielyan was said to have emphasized the importance of establishing long-term cooperation with IBM, which offers comprehensive solutions for the automation of social services simplifying the accessibility of analytical data and various sources of information, as well as helping develop more advanced high-quality services by using the latest technology .
IBM is one of the world leaders in the development of technology solutions for the social sector. Its solutions are effectively used in Ireland, Canada, China, many European countries and the USA.-0--
