ArmenTel and National Union of Employers launch "development of entrepreneurial thinking" project
YEREVAN, September 28. /ARKA/. ArmenTel telecom operator (trading as Beeline) and Armenia’s National Union of Employers have launched a joint project called “Development of Entrepreneurial Thinking.”
ArmenTel said in a press release that the project is implemented as part of Beeline’s global social strategy “Make your Mark" designed to teach and develop entrepreneurial skills of high school students.
The project will be implemented at two schools- №143 Khorenatsi School in Yerevan and Vahan Tekeyan high school №2 in the second-largest town of Gyumri.
According to ArmenTel, the training to be conducted by professionals from the National Union of Employers will use ‘European experience of teaching and German skills for the formation of business culture.’ The training will embrace more than 200 students.
ArmenTel CEO Andrei Pyatakhin said the joint project with the National Union of Employers will allow young people to gain practical business knowledge and skills, which certainly will be useful for their career planning.
As part of ‘Make your Mark’ program dozens of projects have already been implemented in Armenia aimed at promoting innovation and technological entrepreneurship among young people.
ArmenTel is entirely owned by VimpelCom. It provides fixed and mobile telephony services as well as high-speed Internet and IPTV.-0-
