ArmenTel announces ‘unprecedented’ drop in internet prices while roaming
YEREVAN, July 4. /ARKA/. ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline) has announced an ‘unprecedented’ drop in Internet prices while roaming. The move embraces more than 50 countries, including all European countries, USA, Canada, Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Israel, UAE and will be effective from 24th of June to 20th of September 2016. The valid tariff is 50 drams per megabyte, the company said in a press release.
ArmenTel CEO Andrei Pyatakhin said the company is proud to offer its customers the most attractive rates on the Internet while roaming and hopes that by doing so it will make summer holidays of its subscribers abroad even more pleasant.
Pyatakhin added that while roaming, customers will be able to make free calls to the call center, if necessary.
In order to use seasonal tariffs for Internet in roaming ArmenTel subscribers need to connect roaming before leaving Armenia. No other connections are required. To activate roaming, subscribers to prepaid billing system need to dial *131#, except for those leaving for Turkey and Iran.
Subscribers traveling to Turkey or Iran need to dial *132#, then *13 #, while subscribers to postpaid billing system need to dial *500#. Corporate clients should contact Beeline offices. More information on roaming tariffs and seasonal offers is available at beeline.am.
