ArmenTel quadruples the number of TelCell payment acceptance points
YEREVAN, May 18. / ARKA /. ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline) and Telcell company have quadrupled the number of universal payment acceptance points in Beeline's sales and service offices.
ArmenTel said in a press release that the points have specially trained staff to accept payments for utilities, parking, also bank credits, international money transfers, etc.
Currently, TelCell payment acceptance points are available in Beeline's 21 sales and service offices in Yerevan and outside it. In the capital Yerevan payment acceptance points operate in virtually every major office of Beeline. The joint project was launched in April 2014.
ArmenTel CEO Andrei Pyatakhin is quoted as saying in a press release that the joint project with TelCell had been launched after a survey among the visitors of the company's offices, most of whom said they would like to visit Beeline's offices to pay also for other services.
"A year has passed when we started this project and our decision to quadruple the number of payment acceptance points is evidence that they are very popular. We continue to work to ensure that all customers feel comfortable at our offices,' he says.
Head of Telcell Aram Azatyan says the company managed to build the widest networks of TelCell terminals in the country.
Telcell points in Beeline's offices are used daily to make more than 5,000 payments for various services.
ArmenTel is a subsidiary of VimpelCom. It provides fixed and mobile communications as well as high-speed Internet.
JSC TelCell started operation in August 2007. Not it has 1,500 payment points connected to its processing center. -0-
