Armentel takes part in annual job fair of State Employment Service
YEREVAN, April 30. / ARKA /. ArmenTel telecom (trading as Beeline) said today it took part in the annual job fair, organized by the State Employment Service and presented a wide range of job vacancies at the company.
"We work in a dynamic and constantly evolving market, where the services, products and technology follow each other very quickly. As one of the largest employers in Armenia, we always take part in similar activities wishing to employ skilled young people, rich with new ideas and interested in the development of modern technology," ArmenTel CEO Andrei Pyatakhin is quoted as saying in a press release.
ArmenTel personnel director Marine Galstyan said the company takes part in all similar events to track gifted students and embrace them into their internship program called ‘3rd generation.’.
In 2014 ArmenTel participated in four major job fairs organized by the Armenian State Economic University, the French University of Armenia, Digitec Expo and Luys educational foundation receiving a total of 2000 CVs.
The "3rd generation" program was launched in 2008. Since then 76 students had internship at the company and 37 of them were later employed by ArmenTel. The internship program is designed for third and four-year students.
ArmenTel is owned fully by VimpelCom. It provides fixed and mobile telephony as well as high-speed Internet.-0-
