Beeline and Cafesjian Center for the Arts to sum up Summer Sculpture Garden program
YEREVAN, September 11. /ARKA/. The Cafesjian Center for the Arts has been running a special program designed for schoolchildren since July this year. Called Summer Sculpture Garden the program is a joint initiative with ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline). The latest event is scheduled for September 16th, ArmenTel said today.
Every Saturday, families with children over the age of five have been taking part in interactive tours, discovering the works by artists presented in the garden of the Center, got acquainted with the materials and techniques used. After that, they created their own sculptures in the Creative Hall of the Center. At the end of the program, participating families presented their creations through pantomime.
"Progressive education implies innovative methods: the creation of own sculptures and acquaintance with the works by masters allow children to acquire profound knowledge," says Beeline CEO Andrei Pyatakhin.
He said communication with art and interesting leisure time with family members makes children's lives more interesting and better. In July-September 2017, eight events were organized, involving 45 families.
Beeline and the Cafesjian Center for the Arts have been collaborating since 2011. With the support from Beeline the Center regularly hosts creative workshops, children's and youth programs, classical music concerts and other educational projects aimed at the aesthetic education of children and youth.
In 2015, Beeline helped open the interactive educational center equipped with modern digital technology.
ArmenTel is owned entirely by VimpelCom. It provides fixed and mobile telephony services, as well as high-speed Internet and IPTV. -0-
