Beeline Armenia investments built up by $3 million to $14 million in 2014
YEREVAN, March 5. /ARKA/. ArmenTel CJSC (trading as Beeline) invested $14 million in development of the company in 2014, and this is $3 billion more than the 2013 investment, Andrey Pyatakhin, the telecommunication company CEO, said on Thursday.
«Thanks to the investment, a high-speed fiber-optic Internet service based on FTTB technology was launched and digitalization was continued in provinces, the number of basic stations of mobile communication was increased and IPTV service was offered in Armenia,» he said.
In his words, the company's capital investments totaled $6 million in the fourth quarter alone and the paid taxes exceeded AMD 14 billion.
Pyatakhin added that the year 2014 was also remarkable for the introduction of three client initiatives – a strategy of improvement of customer loyalty metric (NPS) and transformation into client-oriented company as well as the concept 'Simple, Comfortable, for You' and a market strategy 'How Much You Pay?' were adopted.
Beeline got five prestigious awards – Leader in Communication, Leading Telecommunication Operator, the Most Ecologically Responsible Company and Andrey Pyatakhin was recognized the Best Manager of the Year in Armenia.
ArmenTel CJSC, a subsidiary of Russian VimpelCom (trading as Beeline), provides fixed and mobile telecommunication services and a high-speed access to Internet. --0--
