Beeline launches project ‘New Technologies in Development of Communities’
YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. Beeline, jointly with the Child Development Foundation and PicsArt and under TSD Company’s Armenian Office, has launched the project ‘New Technologies in Development of Communities’, the telecommunication company’s press office reports
According to the company’s news release, the program will be implemented in five communities. Participants are 14-to-17-year-old teens.
As part of this program, participants will take pictures from communities’ problems and design their solutions by using PicsArt application.
The photographs will be placed in social networks and the best photos will be exposed at an exhibition.
Andrey Pyatakhin, Beeline CEO in Armenia, said that the program is very important for the company.
“This program is important to Beeline for several reasons – first, as a telecommunication company, we encourage digitalization popularity among young people, and the second, as a socially responsible company, we are happy that the new generation uses advanced technologies to improve living standards in our country,” he said.
Lusine Simonyan, head of Child Development Foundation, on her side, stressed the importance of the project.
“Very often we even don’t understand that every opportunity makes significant changes in the life of the new generation,” she said. “”Every new program gives children a chance to develop.”
