Beeline modernizing its fixed telephony facilities in some communities of Armenia’s
YEREVAN, November 13. /ARKA/. ArmenTel (Beeline brand) will complete modernization of its fixed telephony facilities in some communities of Armenia’s Aragatsotn and Lori provinces soon, the press office of the company reported on Thursday.
The company intends to complete the modernization in Byurakan and Antarot communities of Aragatsotn province before November 30 and in Lori province’s town of Tumanyan before December 12.
It means the communities’ residents will enjoy digital fixed telephony and broadband Internet of a new quality.
“Beeline continues expanding the geography of its broadband Internet services, making them available to more residents of Armenian provinces,” Beeline CEO I Armenia Andrey Pyatakhin is quoted in the news release as saying. “Along with that, we continue modernizing our fixed telecommunication network to combine low prices with high-quality services.”
In 2015, Beeline digitalized its facilities in six communities and carried out assembling of 832 new ports of Internet services.
In 2014, the company lowered prices for fixed telephony services.
ArmenTel CJSC, a subsidiary of Russian VimpelCom (trading as Beeline), provides fixed and mobile telecommunication services and a high-speed access to Internet. -0---
