Beeline opens Children Development Corners in Aragatsotn province

YEREVAN, November 25. /ARKA/. ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline) and the Children Development Foundation announced the opening of "Beeline Children Development Corners’ at #1 kindergarten in Aparan, a town in Aragatsotn province and a secondary school of the village of Shenavan.

Under this program designed to boost inclusive education in Armenian provincial schools, teachers will have special courses and counseling, and child development centers will be equipped with special educational games and literature prepared by the Child Development Foundation.

‘‘Beeline welcomes and attaches importance to the implementation of programs that help children and young people to change their lives for the better. Terms of training and development should be equal for each child, although we should be a little closer to the children with special needs,’ ArmenTel CEO Andrei Pyatakhin is quoted as saying in a press release.

According to Lusine Simonyan, the director of the Children Development Foundation, it is very important to have children with special needs involved in the learning process.

Beeline and the Children Development Foundation have been implementing joint social programs since 2011. Together they established the inclusive children's theater troupe "We" and conducted also art therapy courses that help these children integrate into society.
Earlier this year they a new hotline -0-8000-1007, designed for parents seeking professional consultation, information or advice concerning their children. The initiative is supposed to improve protection of children’s rights through the provision of information and prompt response.
